- Late arrival: All students must report to school by 7.50 am. The students who travel by the school bus are exempted from this rule, if the bus arrives late. The school gate will be closed by 8 am and disciplinary action will be taken against those who arrive school late for more than two days in a month.
- No one who is late or has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without the permission of the Class Teacher/Vice Principal/Headmaster/Director of Prep Department.
- Except in the case of unforeseen illness, no leave may be taken without prior sanction from the school authorities.
- For leave of absence for 1-3 days, it is sufficient to apply through the pages of the school diary. Parents may also apply online for leave for the above mentioned period. For leave of absence for more than 3 days a written leave application should be submitted to concerned department. In case of sick leave for more than three days an application along a medical fitness certificate must be submitted.
- Every absence (Sick leave or otherwise) must be entered briefly in the NON-ATTENDANCE AND LEAVE RECORD in the school diary and signed by the parent or guardian. Failure to do this will invite a fine of Rs. 50.
- Those who are absent without prior leave will be fined @Rs. 50 per day.
- For marriage within the family only one day’s leave is granted, as a rule. For this prior sanction is needed.
- Absence from school prior to a test (and on Saturdays that are marked as class days) will adversely affect the student’s grade in the test; therefore it is always discouraged.
- In the event of a student falling sick during the school hours, the parent should come to school and take him/her home. No student who falls sick during the school hours will be allowed to go home alone.
- Half day leave for family functions or doctor’s appointment will only be sanctioned if the parent himself/herself comes to school and take his/her ward along him/her. No student will be allowed to leave the school campus during the school hours without the consent of the parent.
- Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than five consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off from the rolls. Readmission, if granted will be done on payment of a re-admission fee.
- All students are expected to attend school on the re-opening day after each of the vacation. Those absent without prior leave-will be fined @ Rs. 50 per day. Those absent because of sickness must inform the school before or on the reopening day and present a medical certificate before they are admitted to the class, failing which they too must pay the above penalty. Absence without leave for more than five days immediately after a vacation renders the student liable to dismissal.
